In this episode of Killing Eve, Eve Polastri goes against the orders of her boss, Carolyn, by staying in Russia and interviewing Anna, the ex-wife of the man Villanelle murdered. With these actions, she is showing masculine traits by taking risks and making decisions, as well as having confidence. When she talks to Anna, she shows a lot of compassion and sensitivity, which are feminine traits.
In class, we recently learned about the effects media can have. We learned that media can effect what people expect of men and women. If someone watched this episode, they could get the idea that women can be confident and intelligent.
