Michael is picking out a new chair for his office. During the process, he thinks that he “falls in love” with this chair model. After an EXTENSIVE search by Dwight, it is uncovered that she is actually dead.

Masculine Traits-

  • Michael says to use the woman on “Page 85 of your supply catalogue” as a template for women to set him up with.
  • Michael calls Oscar, a gay man, “Oscar Meyer Weiner Lover”. He also calls being gay a “condition”
  • Kevin tells Michael that he broke up with his fiancée and Michael says “You do not deserve her!”
  • Phyllis says that she has somebody to set Michael up with and he keeps asking questions that are leading to how heavy she is. This is insinuating that he will not go out with heavier set women.
  • Michael says “dating should not be hard for somebody like me”
  • Michael forces the entire office to write down on index cards a woman for him to call and try to date.
  • There is a parking dispute where the entire office except for Michael has to park about 15 minutes away and walk. When Kevin and Andy go into his office, he says that he is not going to help, even though he also says that he could help, he just doesn’t want to.
  • Pam sets him up with her landlady and they go get coffee. After he is not satisfied with the way that she looks after approaching him, she calls his name and he does not respond. He acts like it is not him. The landlady only knows that it is him because of his coffee order getting called out and handed to him in front of her.
  • Michael shows the landlady a picture of Jan and says “look at what I walked out on” “you cant see her whole body, but down there, she has a boob job”
  • Michael also tells the landlady that it was like talking to “the sweet old lady on the bus”

Feminine Traits-

  • There are no traits that are feminine that I can pick out of this episode.
