In this post we will discuss a scene with Evelyn breaking gender stereotypes in the second film.
At the beginning of the second film, we see Evelyn, Rick, and their son attacked at home. Evelyn is alone with her son when the attack happens and she grabs a sword to defend them. She engages in a sword fight.
She breaks gender stereotypes by fighting and showing aggression.
