In this post we will examine Rick O’Connell towards the end of the second film when he breaks gender stereotypes.
At the end of the film Evelyn suffers and injury and as a result dies. During her death Rick breaks down crying and telling her she’s going to be fine.
Rick breaks gender stereotypes by not only showing emotion but speaking very softly.
