Examples of Masculine Personality Traits Exhibited by Macy Vaughn:
- Analytical: Macy pieces together what happened to her the night she talked to Elder Bari about her demon side with the usage of her surroundings, figuring out that she burned herself on some candles to send herself a message.
- Willing to take a stand: Macy is able to use her powers with the help of Power of Three and the Vortex Viribus located under the Manor to strip Charity of her powers and prevent her from doing any more harm.
Examples of Feminine Personality Traits Exhibited by Macy Vaughn:
- Gullible: At the beginning of the episode, it is made clear that Charity used a memory-wiping spell on Macy to erase her memories of learning about her Evil Sight, and Charity’s murders of Marisol and Elder Bari, and is twisting her thoughts into thinking she may have harmed herself or others with her demonic side, and that she may be a danger to others.
- Sensitive to other’s needs/compassionate: Macy wants to tell Charity and Harry about Charity’s sister Fiona being alive and aligned with the Sarcana coven, but agrees with her sisters not to say anything for now.
- Soft-spoken: For much of the episode, Macy is scared and incredibly unsure about what is happening to her, making her less outspoken and confident in her abilities than usual.
Conclusion: Macy is an integral part of this episode, and her arc in this episode is so strong. As Charity continues to gaslight and manipulate her, Macy becomes scared of herself. However, as she uses her abilities to analyze the situation, she figures out what is going on, and she is able to muster the courage to fight back against Charity with assistance from her sisters and Harry. Now that the Charmed Ones are stronger in their bond than ever and with several episodes left until the finale, it will be interesting to see how Macy’s bonds with her sisters and their Whitelighter will be tested now.
