Episode one passes the Bechdel Test.

  • In the opening scene, Alba (Jane’s Grandma) is telling Jane about the importance of virginity.  She has Jane crumple a white flower to symbolize losing her virginity.  She then tells Jane to make the flower back to normal.  Jane realizes she can’t make it normal again.  Alba tells her that is what happens when she losses her virginity.  She says virginity never comes back, and Jane promises she won’t have sex before marriage.
