These past two weeks have focused on editing and helping videos with Rutie, but it also included a new project.
In order to show the reactions of the faculty to the different stipends and grants, we decided to add a blog to the website. We are using elementor, however, so blogging is not the easiest. Elementor is mainly used for static pages and information, so instead of using pages, I decided to create a page for each blog post and make it similar to a blog post in the way it looks.
I also decided to create a landing page for the blog. This features three main articles and under it the newest articles written. Right now only the one article is “real”. The rest are just placeholders.
The rest of the week focused on creating the rough cuts and eventually finishing the videos. I will blog about that more next week once they are all done, but for now here is Dr. MacDiarmid’s Advanced Seminar video. I played around with only have music at the beginning and then end. Please check it out and see how it flows compared to the other videos.
