After the week of filming, my workload transitioned into the week of editing. The beginning of the week consisted of working on the course pages and we finished filming a professor.
Course Pages
With footage for six different intersection videos from professors and students, I started to work more deeply on the course pages. Next week, I will be meeting with Dr. Riggle to confirm the different materials that should be on each page and create a bit of a template for the course pages, making it easier in the future for me to edit.
Finishing Filming and the Start of Editing
Shan Bryan-Hanson was the last professor we needed to film for the six original course videos we have data for. This meant it was time to start into editing mode. To make the rest of the videos easier, I combined all of the clips from the interview to create a rough cut. Usually we film twice through and pick which video worked the best, but this time we liked responses from several different clips. I tried to cut out some of the long pauses and use the already cut clips.
Nice to see how the process is evolving.
