The main focus of this week has been continuing to add color to grid. I experimented with the colors of the text to help it pop out of the grid a bit more and make it easier to read. The major difference I made was darkening the background color of the grid to help the colors pop.
I also experimented with the color swatch and turning that into a grid format to really show the blend of color and also the different colors of each intersection.
Updating the website
The rest of the week was spent updating the website and moving the interactive grid to a different page. This just helped the website to flow better and kept the homepage a bit simpler. This transition helped me to realize the love and hate I have with coding and how each website is just one big puzzle in order to try to find out how to fix a problem.
This is a significant step forward for FSL at SNC Cassie. The color grid adds meaning and supports the over concept. I deeply appreciate your contributions to the FSL team this semester and look forward to continuing that effort. 😎
