Karen is majoring in Spanish, minoring in English, and completing a certificate in Pre-Law Studies. She was an active member of Old St. Joe’s Parish, has worked in the Office of Admissions for 3 years, has been a summer mentor for STAR for 3 years, was a founding member of Chiara, is the service chair of the Indigenous Peoples council, and is involved with the Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Sigma Iota, and Sigma Tau Delta. She has also been a committee member for Fiesta since her freshman year and this is her second time serving as co-chair. Karen is currently interning at with the Corneille Law group. After graduation she plans to attend law school and pursue a legal career specifically within the area of human rights law.
