5 Reasons Why I Love SNC

People say that sometimes the best things in life happen unexpectedly and that is true. Choosing St. Norbert College (SNC) is an unexpected decision but it is one of the best things I could have done for myself.

When I was in my junior year of high school, I had a list of universities and colleges that I wanted to apply to and none of them was as small as SNC. I first went to SNC just to improve my English before applying for other “big” universities.  It was a perfect place to practice English as the majority of people on campus are Americans so the only way I could communicate with other people was to actually speak in English. Little did I know that I would fall in love with the school with each passing day. I was welcomed from the moment that I stepped on campus, and I knew from that day forward that I had found my next home. There was no need to see any more colleges because I had found what I was looking for. I decided to stay at SNC for 4 years and that was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I love my school and these are a few reasons why.

1. St. Norbert College is BEAUTIFUL
   This is an undeniable truth about SNC. You can find beauty in every corner of campus from the old red-brick buildings to the bank of the Fox River.
2. St. Norbert College CARES
   In big universities, there are so many students in a classroom that it is also impossible for the professors to be able to remember students’ names. However, at SNC, the average class size is between 15-20 students. Therefore, the professors are able to get know you really well. It’s guaranteed that the professors will remember your name and know who you are after the first week of class. Isn’t it great? At SNC, you will never be just a number.
3.  St. Norbert College wants you to be SUCCESSFUL
   The faculty and staff will do anything to help students succeed. I can always go to my professors whenever I need help. They give excellent advice and guidance.
4. St. Norbert College gives you OPPORTUNITIES
   SNC offers many opportunities for you to get involved in different things around campus or out of campus. These opportunities help you to grow and become a better person.
5. St. Norbert College is a HOME away from home
   It isn’t just a school I go to. It is absolutely my second home where I have people that I dearly love. I feel so comfortable and protected here.
