Looking at this model, a couple things could be assumed because of the way he looks and is standing. He is showing the sex role theory through things such as where he is looking and how he is posed. It is clear that he is masculine because he looks independent, self sufficient and individualistic. A man in a turtle neck is seen as someone who is professional and intelligent because when society thinks of a man in a turtle neck they think of a professor. Also, when people see a man in a turtle neck they think of rich, the first person I think about is Steve Jobs. The model is clean shaven, looking away from the camera, he knows that he looks good. Compared to the female model, the stance is very different which gives off a more professional vibe than the female model. . The model right here is giving off that vibe which makes him masculine and intelligent looking.
