During this episode, Ryan is launching the new Dunder Mifflin Infinity website. He is trying to create hype for it throughout the company. Michael, being upper-level management, is invited to the party in New York. The rest of the branches are going to video conference in to join in on the fun. The website claims that it is going to be the best salesman in the company, Dwight does not take this lightly.
Masculine Traits-
- Michael is making a bold claim that this new website is his “brain child.” He is saying that he trained Ryan and now that Ryan is now at Corporate, that this was technically his idea.
- He calls him a VIP because he is invited to the party.
- Angela says something that Michael did not hear. Michael says “whats that pipsqueak?” On top of this, after talking about the Launch Party, Michael says to Angela “easy booster seat, nobody cares about this party anyway.
- Michael tells the office that they can take off early because he is leaving. Angela says “because of the party that I have been planing for two weeks!”
- Michael lies about throwing up to Ryan because of his misreading of the invitation to the online party instead of the actual party in New York.
- Michael says that he is going to throw the entire party of Angela’s down the drain and start his own party.
- Michael hold the pizza man hostage until he gets the discount that he wants.
Feminine Traits-
- Michael asks all the girls to help him with his outfit because he wants to look good for the party. This I believe shows a softer side of Michael.
- Michael buys the pizza for the entire office. After he tells them where he got it from, the entire office get extremely angry.
