In this post I will be explaining the Sex Role Traits of Josie McCoy one of the Main Character in the teen Drama Riverdale using the Items of the Bem Sex Role Inventory.
Josie McCoy is one of the main character in the show Riverdale. Throughout her time on the 4 seasons we have seen her develop as the leader of the girl band Josie and the Pussy Cats, into the defiant and free spirited girls who followed her career in music. For all she has been put through with her past and the involvement with her mother and all her drama when it comes to being mayor, she has some very strong traits that I’m excited to uncover.
Feminine
Loyal- She is someone who is loyal to her friends and the people who mean the most to her. She is loyal to her pussy cats and the friends she has at school.
Gullible- She is someone who is pushed around by her mother and her constant need for her daughter to be her best. She is also pushed around by the other people at the school never the first person that comes to mind when it comes to popularity.
Understanding- She is someone who is understanding of some of her friends decisions and the understanding that she is not in the inner circle.
Masculine
Strong personality- She is someone who is going to do things her way when it comes to her career and musical career.
Acts as a leader- She is the leader of her band and will always be the leader. She is always going to do what is best for her in response to her well being and future.
Ambitious- She is someone who is going to go after her career and that is simply all her characteristics and is her personality to the tea.
In Conclusion
In conclusion Josie is someone who is more masculine than feminine, she is someone who will do whatever it takes in order to get to where she wants in her career and relationships.
