In this post I will be explaining the Sex Role Traits of Hermione Lodge  one of the Main Character in the teen Drama Riverdale using the Items of the Bem Sex Role Inventory.

 

Hermione is one of the main character in the show Riverdale. Throughout her time on the 4 seasons we have seen her develop as the loving and caring mom to the mob wife of Hirum Lodge. For all she has been put through with her husbands past and the involvement with the destruction of Riverdale, she has some very strong traits that I’m excited to uncover.

 

Feminine 

Loyal- Hermione is someone who is loyal to her husband no matter what awful life choices he makes she is willing to put herself on the line for him. She even runs for mayor of Riverdale to be in charge of the cities legal and justice system to be in the loop of her husbands mob proceedings.

 

Understanding- Of all the awful things her husband has done she still loves and forgives him. He even threatens to take her down with him to their daughter Veronica and she still stands by his side like nothing happened.

 

Feminine- Hermione is someone who is always dressed like she is running for office. She is always in business attire and hair and nails done with all top brand clothing. She is the face of Femininity.

 

Masculine 

Willing to take risks- She is willing to put other peoples lives in danger, in order to save her own. She is someone to be feared in the face of defending her family. She will not let people walk all over her daughter and will not allow people to be hurt her family.

 

Assertive- Especially when it comes to Veronica when things don’t go her way or Veronica defies her then she gets very assertive in front of her daughter.

 

Makes Decisions easily- She is someone who will join something or not within seconds there isn’t even a doubt in her mind. She is a person of quick thinking.

 

In conclusion

In conclusion Hermione is a more feminine character. She is someone who is a pawn in the mob game her husband runs. She is someone who cares about taking care of her daughter and keeping her safe.
