Summary: In this episode, Abbi gets her wisdom teeth out. Ilana and her roommate, Jaime take care of her while she’s recovering from the surgery, but chaos ensues when Abbi escapes. Ilana and Jaime both give her 2 painkillers, not knowing that the other one gave her medicine already .
Masculine Traits:
- Willing to take risks: At the beginning of the episode, Ilana is a naked model for Abbis drawing class. She does not care what others think of her and thought it’s an easy job to get paid.
- Analytical: Ilana goes to facetime Lincoln and realizes that Abbi escaped. She tries thinking of where Abbi would go, what she would do, and where she would be at the time of day.
- Athletic: While Ilana is finding Abbi, she uses her bike to speed around the city and places Abbi frequents.

Sensitive to others’ needs:
- Ilana is caring for Abbi. She explains to her friend, Lincoln, “I am Abbi’s keeper today! I am her mother, sister, father, brother!”.
- After the four vicodin Abbi had, she felt weird, so Ilana made her a ‘firecracker’ which is a strong cannabis edible.
- ‘Boy Crazy’: Abbi is talking about her neighbor, Jeremey while she’s coming up from anesthesia. She calls him and confesses her love and continues to talk about him while she’s high.
- Wardrobe: Ilana dresses up in a ‘sexy nurse’ costume to take care of Abbi.
Sex role perspective: This episode is a great demonstration of what it means to be a women in a new age. Both main characters resist several feminine stereotypes, but also embrace their femininity. They make mistakes, have fun, and show real love for their friendship.
