  1. Clothing
    • From a perspective of what she is wearing, Courtney is presented in less clothing and her body becomes the center of attention of this piece. Women tend to be represented in less clothing for this effect of the audience gazing at their physical appearance.
  2. Active Role
    • On the other hand, Courtney is playing an active role rather than being withdrawn from the camera. She is presented in a way that shows strength, success, and confidence. These are personality traits that are much more likely to be associated with men rather than women; therefore, this cover image defies stereotypes against women in that manner.
