This episode was all about Rory’s birthday and all the celebrations that she had for it! This episode was a little bit of ups and downs due to Rory trying to figure some things out with her grandmother.
Feminine Traits:
- Shy- at first Rory was very adamant that she did not want a party and that she just wanted a small get together. This was especially seen when her party invitations from her grandmother were roaming around school.
- Warm – throughout the season Rory is very warm and she is always approachable.
- Cheerful – on the day of her birthday she was very excited and happy that the day had finally come despite the party that night at her grandmothers.
- Flattered over a boys efforts to see her
- Eager to soothe hurt feelings – sympathetic – she got upset with her grandmother and wanted to apologize to her after she blew up.
- Compassionate
Masculine Traits:
- Ambitious
- Strong Personality – when she opens up to her mother and when she is talking to one of the guys at school she has a very strong personality.
Overall in this episode, I feel that Rory is 100% feminine. Throughout the season Rory has become more and more feminine throughout the episodes. It is interesting to see how she has grown.
