Feminine Touch: The model in the photo has her hand raised to cover her mouth, an example of feminine touch.

Licensed Withdrawal: Notice that she also isn’t looking at the camera, inviting the person viewing the ad to look at her.

Ad Two: https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5abf72be710699cf148d9c26/1523724893158-M08N72AI8X03DNNODCJ0/ke17ZwdGBToddI8pDm48kDHPSfPanjkWqhH6pl6g5ph7gQa3H78H3Y0txjaiv_0fDoOvxcdMmMKkDsyUqMSsMWxHk725yiiHCCLfrh8O1z4YTzHvnKhyp6Da-NYroOW3ZGjoBKy3azqku80C789l0mwONMR1ELp49Lyc52iWr5dNb1QJw9casjKdtTg1_-y4jz4ptJBmI9gQmbjSQnNGng/2.jpg

Feminine Touch: This ad is another example of feminine touch, since the model has her hand raised to touch her chin.

Ad Three:https://lifeandthreads.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/BeFunky-collagfedge-1440×886.jpg

This is yet another New Balance ad with feminine touch. Notice how the model has her cheek propped up on her hand. This is common in other New Balance ads that I have seen.

Usually, most companies with ads featuring only females have a pairing of Feminine touch and Licensed withdrawal, but for New Balance, only one of the ads I looked at demonstrated this combination. Also, in all of these ads, the women are wearing clothes that cover their skin very well.

Ad Four: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/45/fa/4e/45fa4ec0876e0c6afea643db86ce5e4a.jpg

Notice this ad does not have licensed withdrawal, nor does the model touch himself in any way. On the contrary, his arms are spread out.

Ad Five: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/0a/f9/5c/0af95c6b7336afe7dcb97dbf56dacd9d.jpg

This ad has very similar features to the ad of the other man. Notice how wide apart his arms are right up front. In the very back though, notice how the model has his hands up and wrapped around the back of his neck.

Ad Six: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/32/97/5b/32975b16ef702fad04e76b964180d3a6.jpg

This ad is similar to the last two. Notice that the man does have one of his hands up to touch his head, but he’s wearing a hat so he’s not fully touching himself.

There doesn’t seem to be a huge difference between men and women’s new balance ads, thought the women were see touching their faces more often.
