Quick summary of episode:
Brian meets a woman, Carolyn, at the library and they hit it off. After a string of relationship fails, Stewie suggests to Brian that he take things slow with this one which Brian agrees to do. After dating a while and refraining from having sex with her, Brian goes to Carolyn’s to finally take that step. Instead he finds Carolyn and Cleveland having sex in her car. Brian, now heartbroken, tries to break them up by getting Loretta, Cleveland’s ex-wife, and Cleveland back together.

Sex Role Analysis/Stereotypes:
- Not a lot
- No one shown working; both male and female characters shown at home and in non-domestic settings
- Primarily male characters
- Female characters were romantic partners or ex romantic partners; no female friends or peers
Worth noting:
- Queer theory:
- Stewie- has both feminine and masculine traits; undefined sexual orientation; clearly has a crush on Brian but in past episodes has also liked girls
- Preferred body type of women: Gender Socialization
- When trying to compliment Loretta, Stewie has trouble trying to say she has a “perfect figure”
- Loretta is a bigger woman
- Also described as having “speed bag arm fat”
- Cleveland and Peter are bigger than she is, but she gets insulted for being overweight (not as much as male characters)
- Learning what the expectations are for female bodies
- Loretta is one of the VERY few women on the show with fuller figures. Most other female characters have “preferred” body types
- When trying to compliment Loretta, Stewie has trouble trying to say she has a “perfect figure”
