Does it pass the Bechdel Test? Yes.

Power Structures enforcing Masculinity and Femininity

  • Masculinity
    • Men are in charge at the SSR, Peggy is the only woman working as an agent
    • Men treat women how they want, this is mostly a sign of the times. In the diner, the man is belittling and aggressive towards Angie and slaps her butt as she walks away. Angie just has to deal with it, and the man (if Peggy hadn’t been there) would have gotten away with it.
  • Femininity
    • Peggy uses the stereotypical feminine traits to her advantage when stealing the bomb from Spider.
    • When an emergency is first presented, instead of telling her that she could help, Chief Duley wanted her to man the phones.
