Background: BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter video game developed by Irrational Games and published by 2K Games. It was released worldwide in 2013. Bioshock Infinite is the third game in the series and takes place in a different location than the other two games.

Plot: The plot follows a man named Booker Dewitt who is hired in 1912 to find a girl named Elizabeth. He is sent to a floating city in the sky that had (in this game universe)
seceded from the United States. He and Elizabeth spend the game fighting their way through the city, and Booker discovers Elizabeth has supernatural powers that they use to fight off the people searching for her.

Bechdel Test: This game does not pass the Bechdel Test. Though there are a few important female characters, all of them interact with Booker over Elizabeth for the majority of the game. Elizabeth is constantly in a the “damsel in distress” state throughout the story, despite her powerful abilities. Almost all of the conversations involving Elizabeth and the other characters mention either Booker or Elizabeth’s father, who is trying to imprison her and snuff out any rebellions in his city.
