Right off the bat, this episode passes as Amelia’s first interactions is with Arizona who is another female coworker, as they talk about how to prep Doctor Herman for her surgery. The other interactions Amelia is with her female intern who is working on the surgery with her. The main focus of this episode is on Amelia as she does surgery, along with how Amelia copes with the aftermath. Based on Amelia’s body language and actions in this episode she is seen as more Masculine. Even though Amelia was emotional, tender, and understanding which are signs of feminine traits they’re are overcome with her masculine traits which were risk-taking, forcefulness, and assertiveness in this episode.

- Amelia is assertive in this episode as even after the surgery is done, she continues to look for reasons why doctor Herman is not waking up, which includes focusing on that task until she finds the answer.
