The second episode of the season was focused on “BoJack” getting a girlfriend and “Todd” building a “Disneyland”. While this episode contains less gender stereotyping it obviously fails the Bechdel test. There is not a single conversation between two girls neither is there a conversation that doesn’t incorporate a male character. The only thing the episode is that some of the female charcters go against the typical stereotypes. For example, “Princess Carolyn” is independent and works an office job and plans to move further up on the business ladder and “Diane” thinks that she doesn’t really need or want her husband anymore. This is non-stereotypical because usually women are not considered leaders or being motivated to do their own things as according to gender stereotypes.
