In the first episode of season two there was only one conversation between two women. The two characters that were conversing had the screen names “Diane” and “Kelsey”. The two character’s conservation was not very meaningful because it was only about two sentences long. Although the conversation was short it still did not reference any male characters, also, both of the females were named at some point in the episode. I would conclude that the episode just marginally passed the Bechdel Test. Even though the episode passed the Bechdel test, it still had some gender stereotyping, for example during one of the flashbacks to BoJack’s show there was a teenager girl on the sofa that was on her phone and acting ignorant with a stereotypical teenager accent. I’m surprised that this episode passed even with the stereotyping that was involved because this show is designed around sarcastic and stereotypic elements.
