“If you were an autumnal leaf, you would be…this one!”
A friend of mine from college said that to me as we were walking through campus about a year ago. It was a casual walk, and she suddenly bent over, picked up a leaf, and gave it to me. The leaf was yellow with red pigmentation coming from the center of the leaf. She had her explanation for why she chose that leaf for me, but what I remember most about this comment and gift of hers was the joy and beauty in the simple piece of nature. The colors of the fall leaves are my favorite part of fall, but there are also many more activities to engage within during this season!
Below I compiled a list of all my favorite things to do in the fall, and I asked some of my friends what their favorite activities are as well. We are currently in mid-fall, but there is still time to embrace the season! Try some of these suggestions out if you have not already, and you can comment below what your experience was like!
