Mickey meets a lady at the gym who gets emotional telling Mickey about her ex husband getting remarried and having to go to the wedding. Mickey finds out Trish has a big house and decides to join her there for some wine.

Masculine qualities:

  • when Mickey first meets Trish at the gym she does not want to listen to her crying (not empathetic)
  • Trish is into Jimmy so Mickey tells him to go to dinner with her (overly casual about her relationship with Jimmy/doesn’t want to admit her feelings)
  • talking back to the manager of a restaurant
  • not afraid to take risks
    • Mickey crashes the wedding that Jimmy accompanies Trish to and screams “STOP” saying she wants Jimmy back

Feminine qualities:

  • Mickey is happy to have made her first friend in town and acts giddy
  • Mickey finally shares her feelings toward Jimmy

Mickey’s sex role portrayal in S2E2 is more masculine, so not stereotypical.
