In this episode of Grey’s Anatomy, Christina deals with the aftermath of telling the chief of surgery about Preston’s hand tremor. Throughout the episode, she responds to criticism from her coworkers by being harsh and cold towards them. She also insists to Meredith multiple times that she does not want her to stand up for her. This shows the masculine traits of being individualistic, a willingness to take a stand, and forcefulness. At the end of the episode, she shows sensitivity and compassion by hugging Meredith and then going with Burke to have his arm examined.

In class, we recently learned about parasocial interactions, where audiences form bonds with characters. This show has many characters that are easy to relate to and bond with. They all have journeys of struggle and love, which are easy to relate to.
