Frankie begins negotiating with Brianna, who’s trying to sell Frankie’s yam lube. In doing so, she also reconnects with Jacob. The flame between Jacob and Frankie is still alive, and Frankie is excited to explore it. Grace tries to help Mallory who is on bedrest, pregnant with twins, but finds out that Mallory’s mother-in-law, “Grandma Jean” is there already. Grace, instead of helping Mallory, turns this into a competition of the grandmas. Even though it takes cases of lice for them to get there, Grace learns that she can be a grandma in a different way and still be cherished.

Grace and Frankie “The Negotiation” passes the Bechdel Test by including…

  1. Two women: Grace and Frankie
  2. Conversations that occur between the two women
  3. A conversation between Grace and Frankie, where they discuss Mallory and they express their excitement surrounding her pregnancy.
