The episode begins with Mr. Peanutbutter and his ex-wife going to Starbucks where Diane happens to work. It shows you how the couple came to be. BoJack is trying to create the next best thing and Todd actually shows his true colors in this episode.
This episode has barely any female to female conversation and not to mention it all revolves around the male characters. So this episode obviously fails the Bechdel test but one interesting aspect to gender and media studies from this episode is that Todd comes out to be queer. After his flashback to when he was a teenager his relationship with a girl ended when he found out he did not like women or men.
