It&#8217;s a great feeling to have the work of the issue behind us and to look forward to reader responses. As well as the lobby poster-changing ceremony, we hit Publish on the online magazine, switch out the cover photo on Facebook and walk a copy of the latest issue over to the president&#8217;s office. At the moment I hand a copy to Tom&#8217;s secretary Jamie McGuire, the new issue is out!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">By the way, back to Erich, this wasn&#8217;t the first time he stepped up during the production of this issue. Hired to assist in media relations, he is interested in broadening his experience and so volunteered to wrestle the Alumni Awards section of the magazine to the ground. It&#8217;s a tussle only because these awards recognize four lifetimes of remarkable achievement \u2013 lives hard to encapsulate in the four mini-bios we run in the print issue. Luckily, we are able to connect readers with<a href=\"http:\/\/www.snc.edu\/magazine\/2014fallwinter\/alumniawards.html\"> longer bios online<\/a>.
