For example:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I, I wanna save you<br \/>\nWanna save your heart tonight<br \/>\nHe&#8217;ll only break ya<br \/>\nLeave you torn apart, oh&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This lyric, among others, is one example of the assertiveness and aggressive nature of this song. I mean, he is basically saying &#8220;You don&#8217;t know what you want but I do and it&#8217;s me.&#8221; He is very much trying to project his feelings onto her in hopes that she will go out with him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oh now you&#8217;re at home<br \/>\nAnd he don&#8217;t call<br \/>\nCause he don&#8217;t adore ya<br \/>\nTo him you are just another doll<br \/>\nAnd I tried to warn ya&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I just had to point this lyric out because this is just him saying &#8220;I told you so.&#8221; Very not cool.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evaluating Femininity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a way, I feel like this song paints the girl to be dumb, to put it lightly. Again it goes back to the &#8220;nice guy&#8221; syndrome.
