He shares that he loves her and expresses some sensitivity with this, which is stereotypically a feminine trait. However, the way he goes about this shows that he wants to compete, show dominance, and be forceful. Therefore, he <strong>mostly expresses masculine characteristics through his words throughout the song.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lyrics that show competition, dominance, aggression, and force:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Back in my head we were kissing<\/li>\n<li>Feels like I&#8217;m constantly playing<br \/>\nA game that I&#8217;m destined to lose<br \/>\n&#8216;Cause I can&#8217;t compete with your boyfriend<br \/>\nHe&#8217;s got 27 tattoos<\/li>\n<li>Baby you should know that I would<\/li>\n<li>Would he please you?<br \/>\nWould he kiss you?<br \/>\nWould he treat you like I would? (I would)<br \/>\nWould he touch you?<br \/>\nWould he need you?<br \/>\nWould he love you like I would?<\/li>\n<li>Would he say he&#8217;s in L-O-V-E?<br \/>\nWell if it was me then I would<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Overall, we can see throughout the song how the boy keeps comparing himself to the girl&#8217;s boyfriend and trying to convince her that he is a better guy for her.
