Her character represents gender role reversal. For example:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She uses a lot of harsh and foul language\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She&#8217;s very sarcastic\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Very work oriented\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Very closed off, not warm or welcoming to new people in her life<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jamie isnt close with her family, though she is very loyal to her friends\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Is not gullible, she is very intelligent and smart.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Very independent and self reliant\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Asks Dylan out first, says \u201cI\u2019m going to buy you a drink\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jamie is not shy at all, she&#8217;s very outspoken<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dylan:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dylan\u2019s character follows the stereotypical masculine traits given by the sex role persepective. For example:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He&#8217;s very independent and self sufficient\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is hard for him to open up\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Is very noncommittal\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Analytical\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He&#8217;s very passionate about his job\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Analytical\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Has leadership qualities within his position\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ambitious &#8211; works at GQ in NYC<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He&#8217;s very masculine\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In his dress, speech, masurisms\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Forceful\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With he and Jamie\u2019s relationship<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The media I will be analyzing is the movie Friends with Benefits.
