I have found it tricky with the past few posters to find a lot of distinct gender displays, but the Spider-Man Homecoming poster has a lot of material to work with.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Function Ranking<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Spiderman, Iron Man, and Vulture are all shown in both their normal clothing and in suits meant for fighting. Additionally, Happy is shown in a suit as well. The women on the poster are in normal dress, suggesting that they do not carry the same function and position of power that the men do on the poster.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Relative Size<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The women on the poster are very small in comparison to the men on the poster.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Licensed Withdrawal\/Modern Shift<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No one is looking directly at the camera, so every person on the poster is a face to be looked upon. Michelle\u2019s face looks just as serious as the other men on the poster, but Aunt May is the only character portrayed to be smiling.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Family<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This poster is the first instance I\u2019ve seen in the MCU Posters where the family has some displays in the poster. Aunt May is smiling, friendly and motherly-looking on the poster as opposed to everyone else.
